Listen to the Black Chick Sing, A Ritual-Featuring Dr. Thomas O'Neill and author Omkari Williams

You’re invited to the reading of “Listen to the Black Chick Sing, A Ritual” by Dr. Thomas O’Neill on September 25 at 11:00 a.m. 

The story follows Black Chick who is a wife, mother, and lawyer searching for answers to her personal pain and inner rage. After discovering her Native American roots, Black Chick goes on a personal journey that leads deep within herself and the Arizona desert to engage in the warrior’s ritual of the Sundance. Witness the tale of a woman navigating her newfound roots to find the inner peace she has always yearned for.

The reading will feature Omkari Williams, an activist and author presenting her book “Micro Activism.”

Admission is free, but reservations are encouraged at tickets.bergen.edu
