You’re invited to the reading of “Listen to the Black Chick Sing, A Ritual” by Dr. Thomas O’Neill on September 25 at 11:00 a.m.
The story follows Black Chick who is a wife, mother, and lawyer searching for answers to her personal pain and inner rage. After discovering her Native American roots, Black Chick goes on a personal journey that leads deep within herself and the Arizona desert to engage in the warrior’s ritual of the Sundance. Witness the tale of a woman navigating her newfound roots to find the inner peace she has always yearned for.
The reading will feature Omkari Williams, an activist and author presenting her book “Micro Activism.”
