This session will showcase personal experiences of mental illness, the stigma of accepting reality, the barriers associated with seeking help, and the triumph of acceptance and self-advocacy. This journey will be examined in the context of the family structure, function, and support that rallies to cope with and overcome mental illness.  Presentation followed by Q&A.
