Our Mission
The department of physical sciences at Bergen Community College serves the scientific interests of students through excellence in course offerings and effective teaching techniques to communicate scientific knowledge that meets student needs for today and paves the way to tomorrow. Application of scientific knowledge is encouraged to support the professional development of science majors and to enable non-science majors to make informed decisions based on scientific fact, leading to better educated citizens and consumers, as well as instilling a desire for life-long learning.
