Bergen Community College student Loried Delgado Cotrina is studying health and wants to enhance her skillsets. She is part of the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program. When asked why she selected Bergen, she said, “I liked its campus, it is near my house, and it gave me a good alternative to study.” When asked about what has made her successful at Bergen, she said, “I’ve learned so much English and that makes it easier to reach my goals.” She expects to graduate in 2026.
Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
