PARAMUS, N.J. – The temperature at which books ignite? “Fahrenheit 451.” Bergen Community College’s Bergenstages theatre troupe will present the acclaimed drama about a firefighter’s inner struggle in a dystopian American society beginning Friday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ender Hall Lab Theatre on the Paramus campus (400 Paramus Road). Written by Ray Bradbury, “Fahrenheit 451” follows firefighter Guy Montag who burns illegally owned books as a civil servant. After meeting teenage neighbor Clarisse McClellan, Guy must choose between his current vapid existence and risking everything for the right to think. The show will run Friday, Feb. 28 through Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee March 7 as well.
