PARAMUS, N.J. – This year’s holiday “giving season” featured $101,000 in Bergen Community College Foundation scholarships for 124 students. The honorees, who received scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000, earned recognition for their academic performance and persistence. A ceremony for the scholarship award winners took place Dec. 5 at Bergen’s main campus. The foundation leads the application and disbursement process of student scholarships, which has awarded students approximately $20 million since its 1982 inception.
