Fulbright Programs

Teaching Tolerance
Founded in 1991 by the Southern Poverty Law Center, Teaching Tolerance provides educators with free educational materials that promote respect for differences and appreciation of diversity in the classroom and beyond. See also “Mix It Up”, a project that supports student efforts to identify, question and cross social boundaries within their schools and communities.

ADA Returning Service Members with Disabilities
This publication explains the rights established under the Americans with Disabilities Act and provides information on where to get assistance especially for service members returning with disabilities.

America’s Athletes With Disabilities
Advocates and raises funds to help underwrite the cost of physical disability sports and recreation programs across the country. Members are eligible to apply for grant funding for disability awareness, education or diversity programs.

Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, US Dept. of Education
Through its various grant programs, OSERS provides grants for research, education, and the rehabilitation of people with disabilities.

US Dept. of Health and Human Services
(HHS) is the United States government’s principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves. The department includes more than 300 programs, covering a wide spectrum of activities.
