Shari Franschman is a Professor of Sociology in the Department of Social Sciences. She is the Director of the Social Work Degree Program. Additionally, she is the Director of the Violence Intervention Prevention Center (VIP) at the College. Her academic interests and focus in the VIP program is on best practices for the intervention and prevention of interpersonal violence including sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking.
