Mission Statement:

The Institute for Multicultural Learning is committed to building a community where individuals from all cultures are respected for human dignity and have open access to learning. To that end, the institute creates educational programs that promote diversity, inclusivity, and social change.

Goals:

Academic Excellence:
The IML strives to offer academic courses and research programs that will enhance understanding of cultural, social, and historical issues that are critical in promoting awareness, diversity, equity, and social justice.

Community Outreach:
The ILM builds relationships to establish a broader community network, within and external to the College.

Leadership and Mentoring/Internship Development:
The ILM provides a supportive and vibrant environment for all underrepresented students in order to grow as an individual and enhance their social, intellectual, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
