Recognition by the National Council in Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR)

The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges. As one of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR has more than 1,600 members from nearly 550 colleges across the United States and Canada. The district Medallion Awards recognize excellence in design and communication on a regional basis at community and technical colleges in each of seven districts. The NCMPR District 1 region covers Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Quebec, and United Kingdom.

The Office of Public Relations at Bergen has been awarded 14 NCMPR Medallion and Paragon Awards over the years for its work in strategic communication, communication success story campaigns, fundraising campaigns, newsletters, television programming, print advertisements, webpages, and interior signage/display.
