PARAMUS, N.J. – Bergen Community College and Jersey Mike’s Subs (305 Route 17 South, Paramus) celebrated the spirit of the season by showing gratitude for those faculty and staff who worked on-campus this semester with a complimentary luncheon featuring socially-distanced sandwiches. Representatives from the College, including Interim President Anthony Ross, Ed.D., and Jersey Mike’s, Katherine Gray (pictured), gathered six-feet apart with public safety officers, information technology staff, buildings and grounds workers and other on-campus employees Nov. 23 to break bread as part of an outdoor lunch in the newly revamped campus quad. The Paramus Jersey Mike’s location donated 100 sandwiches as part of the event. Though the majority of Bergen classes and operations have transitioned to a remote environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a rotating group of approximately 100 Bergen employees has worked on campus to support operations.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst.
