PARAMUS, N.J. – Less than a week before Christmas, Bergen Sinfonia will play seasonal standards as part of its annual holiday concert in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre at Bergen Community College.

Led by conductor Murray Colosimo, the orchestra will perform selections from Mozart, Bizet, Faure, Smetana and a collection of Leroy Anderson favorites made famous by the Boston Pops Orchestra Saturday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. A performance of “Canadian Brass Christmas Carols” by the orchestra’s brass section will take place in the Ciccone Theatre lobby prior to the 7:30 p.m. start.

Tickets are $35 and are available at tickets.bergen.edu or by calling (201) 447-7428. The “Curtain Up!” series takes place in the Ciccone Theatre, located at the College’s main campus, 400 Paramus Road.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls 16,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst.
