PARAMUS, N.J. – “Taking Pleasure,” a curated mixed-media exhibition of sculptures and paintings by five regional artists, will be on view from February 4 to March 26 in Bergen Community College’s Gallery Bergen.

Curator Katherine Mojzsis introduces artists Carson Fox, Ronna Lebo, Kara Rooney and Kris Scheifele whose artwork resist beauty – in the conventional sense – using materials such as resin, paint chips, spray paint and acetate.

An opening reception will take place Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the gallery, located on the third floor of West Hall at the school’s main campus (400 Paramus Road, Paramus). Gallery hours vary Tuesdays through Fridays. Both the opening reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.
