PARAMUS, N.J. – The Bergen Community College Foundation will transform the Venetian into a 1940s-inspired supper club during its new signature fundraiser next month. “Club Monte Carlo,” an evening of swing dancing, dinner and casino-style gaming, will support student scholarships and the College’s Turning Point program for students with intellectual disabilities.
Led by honorary chairs Dolores Catania (the Real Housewives of New Jersey), Dr. Manuel Alvarez (Hackensack University Medical Center and FOX News) and Jim Thebery (Bergen County Division on Disability Services), the event will take place Wednesday, March 30 from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the Venetian in Garfield. Tickets ($175) include an open bar, dinner, red carpet photos, dancing, a Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers-inspired dance performance and $150 in play money.
The Foundation, a separately incorporated 501(c)(3), raises funds to support student scholarships, faculty and staff development, emergency funds and other special projects and programs.
