PARAMUS, N.J. – With work representing the shore to the Skylands, 23 artists living and working in New Jersey pay tribute to the Garden State in the latest Gallery Bergen exhibition at Bergen Community College.
“Picturing the Garden State (Now),” an exhibition of paintings, drawings, photographs and prints addressing current visual aspects of social, economic, environmental or other conditions in New Jersey, will open Tuesday, March 1 and remain on view through Friday, April 8 at the College’s main campus at 400 Paramus Road. An opening reception will take place March 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the gallery.
Gallery Bergen is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Artists participating in the exhibition are: Alyce Gottesman, Ann Lepore, Bill DeNoyelles, Dave Dziemian, Ellen Martin, Eva Fazzari, Isabelle Altano, Jackie Skrzynski, Joanie Gagnon San Chirico, Leslie Sheryll, Marshall Katzman, Michael Dal Cerro, Nancy Cohen, Patricia Dahlman, Paula Cantor, Rocco Scary, Steve Singer, Susan Evans Grove, Susan Hoenig, Susan McTigue, Suzanne Ritger, Terri Amig and Theo Solomon. All either live or work in New Jersey.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls 15,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst.
