Abubacar KeitaBergen Community College student, Abubacar Keita, is studying 2D animation to create animated television shows. Keita said, “After finishing high school, I needed a fresh start and Bergen was the perfect place to ease into the college life.” As an avid drawer, Kieta is a member of the Triple A Club, also known as Authors, Animators, and Artists Club, on campus. When asked about what has made him successful at Bergen, Kieta credits the people and resources at Bergen. He said, “The people and resources elevated my progress into fulfilling my dream.” He expects to graduate in May 2023. 

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (, a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
