Bergen Community College student Jennifer Barrera is studying business administration with the goal to work with a network of diverse group of people in her future.

“I chose Bergen Community College because of its welcoming foundation and familiar roots,” said Barrera.

Barrera is a student staff worker and a member of the Latin American Student Association (LASA). When reflecting upon what has made her successful at Bergen, she feels having a “strong support system” helped her success. She expects to graduate in 2024.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
