Pamela RocaBergen Community College graphic design and art student, Pamela Roca, works as a student worker in the Office of Student Life. She enjoys working in Student Life, joining clubs, and attending events on campus.

As an active student, she has joined six student clubs and organizations including the Arts and Crafts Club, the Fashion Club, Latin American Student Association (LASA), Pasalubong (Filipino) Club, Literature Club, and Bards and Scribes.

When attending classes, she has “fun with learning” and enjoys the “friendly connections” with her professors. She feels that her professors are “willing to teach the subjects that they are interested in,” “help students with their assignments,” and “understand the students.”

“I chose Bergen Community College because it has a wide variety of diverse students, staff, and faculty,” said Roca. “It is a well-known and friendly community.”

“It is a great place to start your degree and get to know what college life is like before you transfer to another college or university,” said Roca. “Bergen Community College has made me successful in interacting and communicating with people better.” She expects to graduate in 2025.
