Computer Science Student Participant in the Summer 2020 Ethical Hacking Student Research Project

In recognition of National Computer Science Education Week (December 7-13, 2020), Bergen Community College recognized Steven Korvin, computer science student who participated in the Summer 2020 Ethical Hacking Student Research Project. Korvin said, “Bergen’s computer science department has allowed me to partake in a project that has included both computer programming and information security, which are two things that I have always been interested in.” Korvin graduated in May 2021.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
