Professor Goss graduated from Bergen Community College in May of 1994 with an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy. After graduation he worked full-time at Hackensack University Medical Center for several years as a staff therapist. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in May 2001with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (Cardiopulmonary Science).
Professor Goss began his teaching career in September 1997 as a clinical instructor at Bergen Community College, then for Passaic County Community College. In May 2007, he entered the Master of Science Jurisprudence program at Seton Hall in Newark. He graduated in May 2009.
His employment history also includes working at Allied Health Care Services in Orange, NJ. Allied Health Care is a large home care company where therapist visit patients at home. Professor Goss also worked for Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown and St. Barnabus Medical Center, Livingston.
He was employed as a lecturer in 2007 at Bergen Community College teaching laboratory and clinical courses. Presently, Professor Goss is Associate Professor and Clinical Coordinator of the Respiratory Therapy Program at Bergen Community College. His teaching responsibilities include the areas of acute care, mechanical ventilation, and cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology.
Professor Goss has published articles in the New Jersey Society for Respiratory Care’s periodical, Scope, and the American Association for Respiratory Care periodical AARC Times.
