Professor Goss is an assistant professor at Bergen Community College teaching in the Respiratory Care Program. Professor Goss graduated from Bergen Community College (Respiratory Care, 1994), University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Health Professions (Health Sciences, 2001), and Seton Hall University School of Law (Jurisprudence Health Care Law, 2009).

Professionally, he is a past president of the New Jersey Society for Respiratory Care (2009) and past speaker of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) House of Delegates. He participated in legislative and regulatory initiatives in New Jersey, including updating the scope of practice. In 2017, Professor Goss was inducted as a Fellow of the American Association for Respiratory Care.

Elected as a NJSRC delegate in 2013, he was elected to the AARC Bylaws committee in his first year. Additionally, Professor Goss served on the AARC Government Affairs Committee and chaired the Audit subcommittee.  In the past, Professor Goss served on the Ad Hoc Committee on State Initiatives and Position Statement Committee, 2030 RRT Writing Group.

Professor Goss has been involved with numerous community asthma and lung disease programs. These programs have ranged from instructing nurses on the use of nebulizers to instructing parents on the importance of asthma care. He has lectured at various conferences on physiology, ethics, professionalism, law and education. Professor Goss has worked in hospitals, home care, and education.
