DELTA PSI OMEGA
The Bergenstages chapter of Delta Psi Omega, the National Theatre Honor Society for two-year college students, was chartered at Bergen Community College in 2008. Pledges are invited into the organization on the basis of their activity in the college theatre program.
The purpose of this, the DPO #306 Cast of Delta Psi Omega, is to promote interest in the dramatic activities at Bergen Community College and to serve as an acknowledgment to students for their contributions to quality theatre at BCC.
Qualifications for Membership
- A regularly enrolled student of satisfactory scholarship in either the AFA.THEATRE, or the AAS.TECHNICAL THEATRE programs who has participated (onstage or backstage) in a major production staged by Bergenstages.
- Membership will be conferred by the Theatre faculty at an annual Theatre Banquet.
THEATRE CLUB
To provide a supportive and inclusive environment for students to explore their creativity and passion for theatre through participation in productions, workshops, and other theatrical activities.
- All students are welcome to attend weekly club meetings
- Activities include Broadway Theatre trip, fundraising, invitation to attend ALL Bergenstages final dress rehearsals free, improv comedy workshops, theatre games, dance workshops.
THEATRE ARTS FORUM
Held the first Thursday of each month during the fall and spring semesters to connect those interested in theatre, the Theatre Arts Forum is an informational meeting for anyone interested in theatre at BCC.

- Required attendance for all AAS.Technical Theatre and AFA.Theatre majors but you do not have to be a Theatre major to attend.
