To reset your password, follow these steps:
- Go to https://my.bergen.edu and click I forgot my password! under the blue Sign in button.
- Enter your Bergen Username and click Continue.
Answer the Security Questions, type the characters displayed, and click Continue. (Go to Step 5)
- To reset your password using Email Verification, select Email Verification, type the characters displayed to verify your identity, and click Continue.
NOTE: If you are only prompted to send an email to your Bergen email address, you are not enrolled in the Bergen Password Manager. Please call the ITS Help Desk at 201-879-7109 for assistance.
A verification code will be sent to the email address selected. Enter the verification code received in the email, type the characters displayed, and click Continue
- Enter a New Password, Confirm New Password, type the characters displayed below it, and click Reset Password.
Your new password must be a minimum of 8 characters long with at least one UPPERCASE letter, one lowercase letter, and a number. You may use special characters. Your password cannot be the same as your previous 12 passwords, and cannot contain any part of your name or Bergen username.
To reset your password using security questions, select Security Questions, type the characters displayed to verify your identity, and click Continue.
