A Night of Comedy

PARAMUS, N.J. – Who doesn’t need a good laugh – especially one from the comfort of home? The Bergen Community College Foundation will present “Laugh from Home,” an online evening of comedy for the communities of Bergen County, and anyone else who chooses to stream the evening. Visit the foundation’s website (foundation.bergen.edu) Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. for a link to this free performance. The event will remain on the foundation’s website through December. The Bergen Community College Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, independent of Bergen Community College and governed by a community-based board of directors, works closely with the College president and trustees to set goals and objectives. As the College’s primary fundraising institution, the foundation builds partnerships between Bergen and the community to help advance the priorities of the College’s strategic plan to create transformative student learning experiences and to build on its greatest strengths and areas of greatest potential impact.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
