PARAMUS, N.J. – Officials from Bergen Community College and Ramapo College of New Jersey have signed a transfer agreement streamlining the transfer process for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) majors between the two schools. The agreement, signed June 11 in Bergen’s Emil Buehler Aviation Education Center, covers the two-year school’s A.S. in natural science and mathematics programs and nine B.S. and B.A. programs at the four-year school such as biochemistry, computer science and environmental science.

The agreement essentially permits Bergen graduates utilizing the program to enter Ramapo as juniors.

In just the past year, Bergen has signed similar agreements with Fairleigh Dickinson University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The College maintains more than 40 articulation agreements with four-year schools.
