LYNDHURST, N.J. – Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands will host a free open house for prospective students and their parents next month. The Meadowlands facility, located at 1280 Wall Street West in Lyndhurst, serves approximately 2,200 students each semester.

The open house will take place Wednesday, Aug. 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the student lounge. Students will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from admissions, financial aid and academic programs such as paramedic science, which operates exclusively at the Meadowlands location. Most fall 2015 classes at the Meadowlands begin Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Students joining Bergen become part of the No. 1 associate degree and certificate granting institution in the state – more students graduate from Bergen than any other New Jersey community college.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls 16,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip J. Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst.
