Anthony RosasBergen Community College student Anthony Rosas is studying finance to become an accountant.

I chose Bergen Community College for the opportunity to prepare and succeed in every aspect of my life,” said Rosas, of Cliffside Park.

Prior to attending Bergen, Rosas looked at four-year colleges, but found that many of them came at a high cost. He found Bergen to be a better, affordable alternative that offered him a quality education close to home.

Rosas stepped up on campus as the Student Government Association’s (SGA) vice president for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this role, he aims to connect with his peers to create a fun and inclusive learning environment.

“Bergen has helped give me the skills to be a kind, confident, and assertive leader,” he said. According to Rosas, being part of SGA made an impact on his confidence and ability to lead, allowing him to gain skills that will help him in the real world.

Rosas expects to graduate in 2027.
