Joshua Rota-Tebb

Bergen Community College student, Joshua Rota-Tebb, is a political science major who dreams of a career in national security and international politics. When asked about what has made him successful at Bergen, Rota-Tebb said, “Showing up and doing the work, and putting yourself into everything you do. It will lead you down the right path.” He is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and a student leader in the Student Government Association. He is also active in the chess club and the political science club. “I think the question is not why I chose Bergen, but why I stayed. I came to Bergen out of necessity, but stayed because of the people I met here,” said Rota-Tebb. “Every single one of them has made me feel welcome.”

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst.
