Petar Petroski

Bergen Community College alumnus, Petar Petroski, was an active student leader with involvement in the ARA Research Team, STEM Student Union, Student Government Association, Computer Science club, Theatre club, and Active Minds. “Getting involved on campus helped me grow my network and participate in clubs and organizations that I’m interested in,” said Petroski.

With a major in Information Technology, Petroski’s dream career is to be a web and app developer. He graduated in 2022. When asked why he chose Bergen Community College, Petroski cited financial reasons. He said, “Bergen offers an amazing education at a 2-year institution at a better price.”

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
