Kevin GordilloBergen Community College student, Kevin Gordillo, is studying aviation administration for a career as an aviation mechanic and administrator.

“I chose Bergen Community College because I wanted to further my aviation knowledge in order to get ahead of the competition,” said Gordillo.

He is an Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) student who attributes his success at Bergen to the connections in the aviation industry, his peers, and his professors. “Whether it is in the EOF office or in a class I have, I try to connect with my professor, the subject, and my peers,” he said.

An active student on campus, he is a member of the Student Government Association, the Aviation Club, and the Key Club. Gordillo is in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC).

He expects to graduate from Bergen in 2025.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst.
