PARAMUS, N.J. – The tragedy and triumph arising from Hurricane Sandy lives on through “Sandy: Artists Respond to a Once and Future Superstorm,” currently on display in Gallery Bergen, the visual arts exhibition space at Bergen Community College’s main campus in Paramus. At an opening reception the evening of Oct. 15, Bergen faculty, staff and students joined members of the public in viewing the work of 13 area artists. Conceived, co-curated and organized by Bergen professors Suzaan Boettger and Marriott Sheldon, the exhibition features photographs, paintings, prints and video and remains on view through Dec. 4.

Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu) based in Paramus is a public two-year coeducational college, enrolling nearly 17,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip J. Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields.
