RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – Shuffleboard was for another generation … wasn't it? Senior citizens in Bergen County demand an active lifestyle not dissimilar than the pace they kept in earlier years. But, how do seniors set new goals as they transition to their “golden years?” Sponsored by Bergen Community College’s Suburban Studies Group and the Village of Ridgewood Community Center, “Seniors in Suburbia: Setting New Goals” will offer a panel discussion on the topic Thursday, Nov. 7 from noon to 2:30 p.m. in the Campus Center at Ridgewood High School, 627 East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood. The event will feature an interactive audience engagement segment.
