PARAMUS, N.J. – They once recorded with stars such as Carly Simon, Elton John and Paul McCartney – and now they’re coming to Bergen Community College. The Hit Men, a quintet, will play the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre at the College’s main campus, 400 Paramus Road, Friday, Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Collectively, the members of the group, which formed in 2010, have appeared on 85 albums and received numerous awards. Keyboardist and founder Lee Shapiro leads The Hit Men and he is joined by lead guitarist/vocalist Jimmy Ryan, bassist/vocalist Larry Gates, keyboardist, percussionist and vocalist Russ Velazquez and drummer and vocalist Steve Murphy.

Center orchestra seats are $75, which includes a pre-show reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. in the Ciccone lobby. Side orchestra seats are $50 and rear orchestra seats are $35; all tickets include a post-performance champagne and dessert reception in the Ciccone lobby.
