The Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance of the College and for ensuring that the mission of the College is fulfilled.
In carrying out these responsibilities, the Board regularly considers and approves College policies and provides fiscal oversight. However, the Board delegates authority for the day-to-day management of the College to the President, who is charged with implementing Board policies.
Board members also carry out their duties through participation on the following standing committees:
- Audit and Finance/Legal
- Education and Student Affairs
- Sites and Facilities
- Strategic Planning
Members of the Board of Trustees also serve as liaisons to a number of bodies in the County, including the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the New Jersey Council of County Colleges and the Board of School Estimate.
