Ana Marti joined the board in July 2023. As a career educator with over 25 years of experience in the field, Marti recently retired as a West Orange School principal. Before her retirement, she served in various positions such as teacher, supervisor of several different academic departments, treasurer of the administrators’ association, assistant principal and adjunct professor. Marti has worked in school districts located in New York City, Union City and West Orange. Before entering the education sector, she worked as a software engineer. Since her retirement, Marti has served as a member of the Bergen County Special Services Board of Education and currently works as the director of field-based education at Caldwell University.
