How do I receive credit for a dual enrollment course?
Credit will be reflected on an official Bergen Community College transcript once registered and grades are posted.
Does dual enrollment use the same grading system as the high school?

Can I withdraw from a dual enrollment course?
Yes, you can withdraw from a dual enrollment course and receive a full refund prior to the Spring I add/drop deadline as posted in https://bergen.edu/regcal.
If I do poorly in a dual enrollment course, can I retake the course?
You cannot retake the course through the dual enrollment program at your high school, but you can retake the course either online or on campus at full tuition.
What happens if I miss the deadline to register for a dual enrollment course?
If you miss the dual enrollment registration deadline you will be ineligible for dual enrollment credit. Credit cannot be granted retroactively.
Will dual enrollment courses transfer to other colleges and universities?
Generally speaking, the courses will transfer to other colleges/universities, however, it is suggested that you contact the Admissions Department of your prospective school regarding its policy for college credits earned while in high school. The State of New Jersey established a website www.njtransfer.org which provides course equivalencies amongst the NJ colleges. You may also speak with a BCC College Partner for further guidance.
How do I apply to the Dual Enrollment Program?

- Select the dual enrollment courses that are available to you

What courses can I take through the Dual Enrollment Program?
Your school counselor will provide you with the list of available course offerings. You can also reference BCC’s Dual Enrollment Course Catalog. We recommend having these conversations when working on your schedule for the upcoming school year.
How do I pay for my dual enrollment class(es)?
Payment can be made online via Self Service. Log in to my.bergen.edu and select the option for Student Finance/ Payments.
How do I obtain an unofficial transcript?

When will final grades be posted?

No, financial aid is not available for dual enrollment courses.
