Become a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and start working in one of today’s fastest-growing fields – Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This 40-hour training program is designed to prepare you for RBT certification, equipping you with the skills to support individuals with autism, behavioral challenges, and developmental differences in schools, homes, clinics, and community settings.
RBTs work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and are in high demand across a range of environments—from classrooms to hospitals to residential programs.

Program Requirements
- 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Course Structure:
40-hour online training, including a 20-hour online module and 20 hours of live, instructor-led virtual classes.
- Online Synchronous Class: Students must attend all scheduled 20-hour live online sessions to meet the RBT exam requirement.
- Mandatory Online Module: RBT Exam Prep & Curriculum Supplement TL2.2 (Fee $79) The instructor will provide directions on the module during the first class. Students must wait to purchase it after the first class.

Upon completion of the RBT program and enrollment in the Associate of Science (A.S.) Degree in Education at Bergen Community College, a student will be awarded three (3) college credits for EDU-102 Inclusion and the Exceptional Child. These credits will be awarded to students who meet the admissions requirements for Bergen Community College.
