All students, part-time and full-time students, are required by Bergen Community College to submit proof of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella.
Full-time students must also submit proof of immunity to Hepatitis B.
The immunization requirement may be satisfied by either vaccination or blood test.

Full-time Students – born before 1957 – Enrolled in General Academic Programs
- Full-time students in the general academic program born before 1957 are NOT required to submit documentation of immunity to measles, mumps and rubella.
- Must comply with the Hepatitis B requirement, showing proof of immunity by either vaccination or blood test.
- Notes: There is no age exemption for Hepatitis B.
Students Enrolled in Nursing or Health Professions Programs
- Part-time students in Nursing or the Health Professions programs MUST submit all mandatory immunizations and blood tests as detailed in their acceptance packet.
- Students in the Nursing Program or in the Health Professions programs MUST submit documentation of all required vaccinations and blood tests.

- Timely compliance with ALL requirements is mandatory for continuing in any of the Nursing or Health Professions programs.
