PARAMUS, N.J. – Gallery Bergen seeks art showcasing the political process for an exhibition this fall coinciding with the November elections.

The gallery, located in West Hall at Bergen Community College, invites artists to submit paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, posters, cartoons, graphics, sculpture and videos depicting the democratic process, current political issues or governmental structures for “Art Votes: Visualizing the Democratic Process.” The exhibition will open in mid-September. Artists can submit up to five JPEGs of their work by Friday, June 24 to [email protected].

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls 15,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
