PARAMUS, N.J. – Solo pianist George Winston will perform at Bergen Community College next month.

Winston, who won a Grammy Award in 1994, travels to Bergen Saturday, Nov. 5 for a 7:30 p.m. performance in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre, located at the College’s main campus, 400 Paramus Road. Bringing melodic folk, New Orleans R&B and stride piano styles to the stage, Winston plans to incorporate guitar and harmonica into his “Winter Show” set. Highlights include selections from Vince Guaraldi’s “Peanuts” pieces.

Winston will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of his merchandise to the College’s food pantry.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls 15,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
