Bergen Community College student Wiktoria Brauntsch is studying pediatric nursing to prepare for a successful career in nursing. With an enthusiastic personality, Brauntsch provides school spirit as the Bergen Bulldog mascot at athletic games and other events. During Spring 2023, Brauntsch was a student-athlete who played as a right fielder on Bergen’s softball team. When asked about what has made her successful at Bergen, Brauntsch said, “trying new things and keeping up with my classes.” Brauntsch chose Bergen because her brother attended Bergen. She expects to graduate in 2024.
Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
