To apply for the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) grant, a student must:
- APPLY to Bergen Community College.
- Take the Placement Test.
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form – at https://studentaid.gov
- List Bergen Community College as the first choice (Federal School Code: 004736).
- Go to the NJ Financial Aid Management System (NJFAMS) and check the “TO DO” folder and complete any incomplete items.
- For NJ Dreamers, click here (NJ Dreamer Login/ HESAA’s Secure e-Access Portal) to complete the New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application.
- Meet the EOF Grant Eligibility requirements.
- Complete the 2024-2025 EOF Program Application Form (fillable PDF. Download and save to complete)
- By November 1st for Fall Semester
- By March 1st for Spring Semester (if attending Spring only)
- To expedite the application process:
- Complete EOF Interview Form (fillable PDF. Download and save to complete)
- Complete EOF Services Informed Consent Form (fillable PDF. Download and save to complete)
- Submit supporting documents (step 6 of EOF Application)
- Submit application, supporting documents, and additional forms to the EOF Office:
