Complete your Online Orientation

Our online orientation program is REQUIRED for all new full-time and part-time degree and certificate seeking students. After you attend orientation and provide placement information, you’ll be ready to meet with your academic advisor to register!

In this Online Orientation we’ll tell you about all kinds of opportunities that Bergen offers, both inside and outside the classroom. We’ll also give you the nitty gritty about things like

  • Academic Programs and Resources
  • Student Success and Support Services
  • Student Life
  • Campus Safety
  • Financial Aid and Paying your bill
  • And more!

You are going need to set up your Portal Account before you can start orientation.

To get started, go to and Log-In to Online Orientation.

After you complete orientation, this is the perfect time to complete your Accuplacer Placement Testing OR submit prerequisite placement testing waiver information (ACT/Compass scores and/or previous college credit).

New Bulldog Welcome Day

Save the date: Thursday, January 11, 2018.

New Bulldog Welcome Day, a part of our Big Bergen Winter Welcome, is your chance to get to know Bergen Community College’s campus and the resources you need to be a successful student! All students who are brand new to college, transferring from another college, or restarting after 3 or more years are invited to attend.

Get acquainted with the Bergen Community College campus, interact with current Bergen students, faculty & staff, learn about the various academic programs and support services, hear the secrets of a college success, and have a chance at winning FREE TUITION*!

  • Meet current students
  • Interact with Faculty and Staff
  • Get your Student ID and Parking Permit
  • Take a campus tour
  • Get your textbooks
  • Ask questions
  • Special Parent and Family Information Session

If you are an International Student here on an F-1 Visa, you must attend the International Student Orientation.
