Welcome High School Students, Graduates, and Transfer Students!
The New Jersey Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship (NJ STARS) Program is an initiative created by the State of New Jersey that provides New Jersey’s highest achieving students with free tuition at their home county college for 12-18 college-level credits in the fall and spring semesters for up to five semesters.
Click here to find out why you should take advantage of your NJ STARS scholarship.
To see if you qualify, please check the HESAA website and check the NJ STARS Fact Sheet for the year you graduated high school.*
2022 and 2021 high school graduates who qualified for the NJ STARS program but did not attend Bergen Community College full-time may still be eligible if they enroll within five semesters following high school graduation, even if they attended another college or university.
*Fall 2023 is the final semester that 2021 high school graduates will be eligible to enroll at Bergen Community College in the NJ STARS program.
